Welcome to the Financial Grants and In-Kind Donation Portal for the Zallie Community Foundation!
The Zallie Community Foundation is a public charity that explores philanthropic activities to strengthen communities in Burlington (NJ), Camden (NJ), Gloucester (NJ), and Philadelphia (PA) counties.
Before submitting a request for support, please review the Criteria for Support below to understand the types of organizations the Zallie Community Foundation supports.
Please note that your organization must be a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization to be considered for support.
You will be asked to submit a letter outlining your request on organization letterhead or a printed flyer about your event. Please have that prepared before you begin. Any requests not on letterhead will not be considered.
For In-Kind support, your organization’s mission must reflect one or more of our three focus areas:
~ Health
~ Hunger
~ Community Connections
Your request must be submitted at least 3 weeks before you need a reply.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR FINANCIAL GRANT REQUESTS:
- Financial Grants are granted for the areas of Health and Hunger only.
- Please note that we Do NOT Fund Operational Costs.
- Financial grants above $10,000 are by invitation only.
- Financial grants are reviewed one time per quarter: March 15, June 15, September 15, and December 15.

Our application process consists of two sections, both which need to be completed.
Section 1. Contact information for the requester and the organization.
During this section you will need to provide complete address, phone number, email address, and company website address. You will also need to describe your organization’s purpose.
Section 2. The proposal your organization is submitting for review.
During this section, you will be required to describe your request, its purpose and the specific amount being requested. You will also need to upload a letter of inquiry and any supporting documentation that is needed.
We recommend that you gather the information needed before you begin for ease of the process. Once the application is complete and submitted it will be sent to the queue to be reviewed at the next opportunity.
You will receive an email confirming this. If your request is approved, you will receive an email with that information within 2 weeks. If additional information is needed in order to review your request, you will receive an email regarding what is needed.
To be considered for support:
- Organization must be a 501(c) 3 charity
- Organization must serve those located within Burlington County, NJ, Camden County, NJ, Gloucester County, NJ or Philadelphia County, PA
- Organization mission fits within one or more of our focus areas
The Zallie Community Foundation does not provide in-kind donations or financial support for any of the following:
- A for-profit business
- Organizations outside of our three focus areas or outside of our geographic focus areas.
- Individuals
- Marketing or advertising initiatives such as program ads, signs or advertising
- Political causes, candidates, organizations or campaigns
- Organizations whose primary purpose is to influence legislation
For in-kind donations of prepared foods or bakery items, please note that product cannot be picked up any earlier than 24 hours before the event. This is to ensure that our products are presented in the freshest possible environment. We strongly recommend picking up these items on the day of your event.

The two forms of support of $500 or less available with this option are:
1. A grant of $500 or less that will be in the form of a ShopRite gift card.
2. A financial grant of $500 or less.
